It’s that time of year again, when children’s thoughts turn to ghosts and ghoulies and candy… and costumes! For parents, it can be a little stress inducing – we want our children to have the wonderful Halloween celebrations that we remember from our own childhoods. But things have changed these days. Trick or treating isn’t as safe as it was in our day, back when everyone in the neighborhood knew everyone else. Also, so many of us are working on extra tight budgets, we might not have the money to splurge on that awesome costume our kid is begging for. So how do you come up with a great costume when you have to stay on a budget?
